Description

I noticed some of the adapter models for the 4-in-1 PTFE adapter from Bambu Lab was for the adapter from the A1 which doesnt have the small mounting tab sticking up (used to mount adapter to the P1P frame). Problem is when trying to mount to the P1S and X1C there's no provision for the tab to sit flush because of the enclosure so you have to let it hang. As much as that is fine, I wanted it mounted. I remixed mkd's mount adding a cut out for the tab and trimmed it a little to use less material.

All you have to do is replace the short screw(s) already there with the slightly longer one that comes in the bag marked “For Spool Holder." There's provisions to replace both screws if you have an extra longer one, but you can get away with only using 1 if thats all you have. Then the adapter just snaps right in.

thx for this! i had mine since it was released and had no idea where it was supposed to be connected to my p1s case. i saw yesterday they had edited the website and it is intended not to be fastened somewhere. ridiculous! i printed the adapter with petg and fits wonderful!

Thanks! Good to know I wasn't the only one confused on that. Having had the P1P first I recognized the tab since the P1P comes with an adapter with a similar tab so it can pivot since the bowden tube comes out over the top of the frame. But then thought to myself, "that doesn't work with the enclosed printers cuz the mounting points are covered." Lol. I may design an adjustable one that allows use of the pivot perhaps in the future, but honestly its only the P1P uses the pivot and they can just bolt to on to the frame with the included screws that have the spacers on em.

it's a great mod! My congratulations to the designer. There is only one issue with the fit that doesn't allow to fully hold the component. I'm attaching a picture for the design review. Thank you again for your support.

That's how it is supposed to look. The adapter should still snap in to the bracket and hold it just fine though. You're result is exactly as it should be. Here you can see on mine, is same

Perfect but I added a little cut for a better fitting of the PTFE adapter. Fragile when printed in PLA Matte but it's ok, Matte is less resistant than standard PLA.

this is an excellent file, its only me as a user that messed up!, didn't have any PETG, so printed in PLA...not a great idea, broke 3, before settling on this one, which i resized a fraction (.5mm on the height), and added a very small curve to the back edge for the back of the PTFE connector, although broken this is very solid and in a perfect position, thank you for the file!
