Description

Attention! There seem to be several versions of the AMS where the slots differ from this version. Please check before printing if the version fits. I try to get the dimensions of the other version and will then upload the bracket in the adapted version!

I added a design drawing with measurements please check it! Here is the Variation for the 3 slotted AMS Version.

Nothing special - just a quick Design to mount the AMS on the wall.

Works fine for me. If there are any Problems, don't hesitate to contact me!

Recommended print settings: 5 Walls/Perimeters, 5 Top/Bottom, 35% infill with ABS

For example https://www.nobufil.com/abs-filament which is currently the best ABS i know! Perfect layer bonding, ok smell, great colors (even Sparkle ones) - and recycled out of industrial ABS. No, i'm not working there, just impressed.

Nice print and solid. But make sure it will fit your AMS. It looks like there may be a few revisions.

I recently bought my AMS, and it has the 3 large cavities. It seems the 5 cavity design is old.

you may want to add a note someplace so people do not print them find out.

Are the slots in the AMS - and the wall mount print here, set for going into studs? If not, might be useful to call that out. I can see the weight of the AMS pulling out of sheetrock if the screws aren't anchored to studs. Printed in neutral white ASA.

I would just use those plastic expanding wall anchors if it's just going in to drywall. Those should be more than sufficient.

The only types that I could see working are the ones that expand behind the sheet rock, into the void, like legs that spring load out. The normal picture frame plastic anchors (that just wrap the screw) won't be strong enough, either. Even so, a chunk of wood that does anchor to studs, and then this to that wood, would work. Well on to my 3rd set of these models printed in ASA. They look great.

Since I live in Germany i have used 50x5mm Screws with standard anchors. In other regions e.g. NorthAmerica where Drywalls the de facto standard your mileage may vary... but i cant tell how to mount this in drywalls. ;)

Nice model. Fits perfectly to my "old" AMS. I used your ABS profile to create a stronger one for PLA.

This was a perfect solution to my space problem. Really wanted the second AMS and this was my only way to do it without getting rid of a one of the four printers.

Fits the 3 slot AMS just fine. Still room behind for cables and PTFE tube. Very sturdy. A+
