Description

A remix as i wanted to do a wall mount but this version didn't fit my AMS which had 3 gaps on each side vs the 4/5. I also flatterned the circle pattern in the centre to print cleaner.

I have add just the right hand version which you can mirror for the left hand side.

I also had to extend the distance from the wall so there was enough gap for the cable

Print quality is great, used Sunlu black PLA, 6 perimeters, 5 bottom/top, 25% gyroid infill with supports for the drill holes. just installed it and only then realized that the lid won’t fully open which is incredibly sad… I guess it isn’t in the description but I was expecting it anyways 😒

This is just a remix of another design to make it fit my AMS version, i did extend it out a bit but was worried if it was extended too far out it wouldn't be strong enought and would be liable to break. Should have a good amount of space to get filament in but yes lid won't stay open on its own unless some kind of block is designed to wedge it open

Great model, only the screw holes are a bit wide and thin.

Did not work for my 3 slot version of AMS, but certainly would have fit the bill if it did.

I would think having at least 3 different sets of tooling for this nonessential part would be a bit much, but I don't make those kinds of decisions, haha.

Wow, this is the 4th variant of the AMS slot widths that I have seen. I wonder why Bambu Labs continues to change it. Was your rating based on the non-matching geometry or the print profile? Assuming the rating you gave is for the model geometry, would you mind revising your rating based on the print quality alone? I hope Bambu Labs updates Maker World to allow rating the model itself. PS, thanks for the images!

printed this on 02/23/2024 and it did not fit my 3 prong ams that I got today. middle section is to long

sorry already mounted it using a modified file that uses the slots in the rear. my middle slot came in at 83mm

I have the opposite problem. My middle section is smaller. Glad I measured prior to printing. I will add a remix in the coming days. I received my AMS April 8 2024 and a different tooling again. Good thing is they're forcing us to use fusion 360 I guess...yay more time designing lol doh!

Beim Mittelstück: Trotz gereinigten Bett löst sich der Druck und die Stützen lassen sich nicht entfernen. Zudem viel zu viel Stützen. Eine STL ist leider nicht verfügbar.

let me check this tomorrow if there is no stl I can add it, you can also adjust the 3mf on you computer aka extract the stl from there also

the raw STLs are on makerworld so you can try and print with different supports or reorientate, i just put two side piece together to create the central mount so was always going to be tricky with supports, but the standard supports came off fine for me. Currently i have my mounts in pla but at some point i might need to change these to PETG/ASA/ABS but will see

I am currently reprinting your remix (thanks btw) in PETG because the PLA prints just broke (scared the shit out of me). I was lucky it didn't break the glass on the printer.

Unfortunately doesn't fit on the AMS that I bought about 2 weeks ago (sept 2023). The plates that go into the holes on the AMS are too long. Gonna try https://makerworld.com/en/models/15348 which seems to have smaller plates and thus might fit.

yeah some and have 4 slots in them mine I ordered about 6 months apart both had 3 longer slots so I tinkered this and also created a central bracket so hang them side by side
