Description

I liked the original's simplicity; But I wanted the freedom of anyone being able to make it as extended as their personal needs required. Everyone's Tupperware varies so crazily, it makes it difficult to choose one of these things to print. I get that. That's why I worked on this one.

I printed mine pegs in the air direction (as you'll note in the 3MF file). This way, your tolerances can be nice and tight. I found 0.2 hole tolerance perfect for pushing it together, but not easily coming apart. Tighter than this required light hammer taps, which I didn't want to require.

There's an extender as well if you're looking to expand the width between tall walls. 👍

Can't wait to see what people make (or add, if you're feeling creative and want to remix / contribute!)

Firstly, thanks for the design! I love how you can extend it as needed and this was the main reason I chose your design. However, I'm getting this crazy bridge and am confused why no one else has mentioned it. I saw it after slicing but thought I'd give it a go anyway and have printed one piece. Surprisingly, the bridge printed perfectly even in PETG. It doesn't affect the piece in any way as long as it printed successfully like this one, but I'm worried it will mess up the pegs if something goes wrong with this layer. Do you have this bridge in your print as well? I'm using the print profile you posted. All I changed was slow down some of the speed settings. Thanks!

No worries - I was 1 wall off when designing that lip - you shouldn't have any issue, and if you do, just rip that bridge off. ^_^ It looks great in that color by the way!

Yup, have printed 9 in total now with another 2 in progress.. still amazed at how that bridge comes out perfectly every time. lol thank you! It's the only PETG in the AMS and I was too lazy to change so am glad it looks good =p Will post a rating soon ^.^

I love the idea of making it modular, but I printed it at 0.2mm layer height with 15% infill, and it won’t assemble properly. I applied a bit of pressure, but it broke. Any advice on how to print?

If there's any "debree" on the pegs prior to inserting, clip it off with your snipper tool. This is most important. Also, always always plug both pegs in at the same time the best you can. :) You got this!!!

Really like this expandable design! Printed perfectly and is just nice for what for it's intended for. Still printing more as I type.. Thanks for sharing your model! Printed in Siddament PETG Matte Grey.

Overall great model and does a fantastic job of organizing what was a complete mess - however the little posts that connect the pieces can be slightly weak and will break easily in my print - not a big deal b/c they should only need to connect once and then never be touched again - but while showing how they connected I accidently broke 1 - still 5 stars in my book b/c I probably shouldve been more careful

Love the feedback. I'll loop back around to this and create a v2 that utilizes dowels instead of built-in pegs. 👍

I can't seem to find the file for the extender, I would love to print this but will be needing the extender, I know it

The tupperware printable here has pegs and an open hole structure on the opposite side. The "extender" you speak of is simply... the part itself being able to expand! The more you print the more you connect together, like legos!

my wife loved these for our Tupperware lids! generic enough to fit all different brands, good enough to function properly. great work!
