Description

I wanted to have unique trash bin and learn how to design voronoi in fusion360.

This is a torture test for overhangs, printed in PETG as two separate pieces to slide in and lock by friction of layers.

 

I did not use supports, but there are few challenging bridges worth to consider adding them.

 

Edit - As there were questions regarding supports, I tried to reprint once more, this time with the hybrid tree supports (from bed only), much easier to clean, but the ratio of material for supports is ~60% of overall weight. Nevertheless - for science :)

PLA Basic Gradient Ocean to Meadow and white PLA Support. Would recommend doing PLA Basic white as the support filament is very brittle.

Certain angle make it hard to maintain smooth bridging but I did not use any supports. If you do use supports I'm sure it would print better.

I printed without - means some cleaning is required afterwards (that's why I called it a test for bridges/overhangs). I did not try to print it with the supports, but checked how the slicer looks like with tree support from the bed - looks good enough to test.
