Description

I didn't find a small death star lamp. So I decided to remix one.
Fits nicely into the Ikea Fado 17cm lamp.

Have fun printing. It looks super nice!

Printed it with supports. But I don't think that they are needed at all. All my moon lithophanes printed fine without supports.

Edit:
Yes there are a few flaws around the weapon. But this is just a remix and there are limitations when reducing the size of a model. Especially in cases of lithophane prints. So keep that in mind.
Nevertheless the outcome is very acceptable.

What color filament did you use?

I used white and then I painted a light coat of metallic spray paint over it. I did 1 layer and then tested it, and then did another light coat and tested. I did this a couple times till it looked the way I wanted it too.

I used the profile to print on a Bambu P1P using a generic marble pla and it fits perfectly on to the ikea lamp and the bulb lights it up really nicely. Did this for my nephew’s birthday and he was delighted with it as was I watching it print the Timelapse is pretty cool.

Great, I sized up and drew supports on. I didn't account for the gap in superlaser lens part so plan to fill in the gaps with 3d pen. It's no biggie though. Also I ran out of normal grey but was too impatient to wait for delivery so switched on shiny one, im gonna paint anyway
