Sample Spool to Full-Size Adaptor/Converter

Love my 100g sample spools. Love my Filamentalist rewinders. But they two don't work together well as the sample spool is too thin to properly fit and stay on the Filamentalist rollers (or other roller-style spool holders).

So I created this adaptor, which converts the sample spool into a full size spool. Takes just a few seconds to install the sample spool in the adaptor, and it's just as fast to undo it. 

Fusion and STEP files included.

Prints fine without any supports.

Assembly

• Lower sample spool on Adaptor Base.

• Make sure the two nubs on the base go into (any) of the corresponding cutouts in the sample spool:

• Slide the Adaptor Base onto the shaft of the Adaptor Top, again making sure the nubs on the top go into the cutouts in the sample spool. 

• Secure the assembly with the nut.

• Done. Easy peasy.
