I design this a purge chute cover with a silicon nozzle wiper.

Benefits:

  • Purged filament doesn't jump on the plate
  • Nozzle is better cleaned
  • Pieces of purged filament don't go everywhere , each corner of the printer remains clean

How to install:

How it works:

INSTRUCTIONS

What is the nozzle wiper made of?

It is made from a piece of silicone from the molds used to make pancakes. Like this one you see in this pic:

Β

How big should the silicone piece to be cut be?

10mm x 2mm x 15mm

PRINT THE POOP STOP WITH THE NOZZLE WIPER

CUT THE PIECE:

APPLY THE SILICON PIECE IN THE SEAT OF THE POOP STOP AND INSTALL THE POOP STOP IN THE POOP BUCKET

AS YOU SEE IN THIS PIC , MY MODEL IS SUPER FLAT, SO WARPING MUST BE ON IT TO AVOID CRASHED OR SCRATCHES AGAINST THE HOTEND, TOOLHEAD OR FAN DUCT:

BE SURE WHEN YOU'RE PRINTING , THE PRINT IS NOT WARPING!!

With what materials should it be printed?

I recommend PAHT-CF and PET-CF. This is because, when the printer is performing the "nozzle cleaning tip" function, the nozzle temperature is 200Β°C.
So I recommend printing it with materials that resist high temperatures to avoid deformation or future problems.

Do you want to use ABS? Ok, you're free to do so, but don't give me a bad rating for YOUR CHOICE!

I have tested this model so many times and it works smoothly! No issue.

ALL THE MODELS ARE AVAILABLE ON MY PAGE.

NOTICE:

DON'T MODIFY THE ORIENTATION!

NOTICE: THE FOLLOWING PHOTO SHOWS THE EXTRUDED FILAMENT BEING HELD ON THE SILICON NOZZLE WIPER, BEFORE PRINTING.

THIS IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS WHY I DESIGNED THIS MODEL. THAT EXTRUDED FILAMENT COULD RUIN YOU FIRST LAYER!

PLEASE CHECK ALWAYS IF THE SILICON NOZZLE WIPER IS CLEAN AND IF YOU SEE THAT SOME EXTRUDED FILAMENT HAS BEEN DEPOSITED ON IT, REMOVE THE EXTRUDED FILAMENT AND ENJOY 3D PRINTING.

THE PHOTO WAS MADE AS EXAMPLE AFTER 3h PRINTING.

MY MODEL HAS ALREADY BEEN TESTED, FOR A MONTH AND I DON'T FIND ANY PROBLEMS.

THE MODEL ,AS TEST EXAMPLE IN THE PIC, WAS PRINTED IN ABS, BUT I STILL RECOMMEND SUPERIOR FILAMENTS LIKE PC , PATH OR PET.

There were two strange things with the predefined profile: first, that it was prepared for ABS while the instructions explicitly recommended PETG second, for some reason support blockers were not enabled for the letters since I used clear PETG the writing is still frosty visible, but it is not the intended result there's no chance in hell to remove those with such a small gap it otherwise functions and fits as intended on my P1S

There aren't strange things because you just started 3D PRINTING. So lemme answer you: 1 I WROTE I RECOMMEND PET-CF AND PAHT-CF. 2 profile is set up with ABS , because most WANT prints IN ABS 3 SUPPORT BLOCKERS? WHAT'S THAT? SO JUST IN CASE ,support are ON! 4 you are new in this world and you need the right tools , WHAT ABOUT BUYING TWEEZERS FOR EXAMPLE TO REMOVE SUPPORTS? 5 BASICALLY YOU WANT TO PRINT IN CLEAR PETG AND ITS' FROSTY BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO PRINT CLEAR PETG

6 IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY MODEL , CLICK "DOWLOAD" FUSION360 , BUILD YOUR OWN ONE! 7 SINCE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO PRINT , LEMME GIVE YOU THE FIRST ADVICE, LIKE GO ON THE BAMBU LAB WIKI AND LEARN HOW TO PRINT CLEAR PETG AND OTHER FILAMENTS. HERE THE LINK: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/knowledge-sharing/transparent-petg 8 I report you for misinformation! As you read in the link "KNOWLEDGE SHARING" DUDE! KNOWLEDGE! HAVE A NICE DAY!

Wow what a a** ****, i was tinking you were probably like that when i saw remix off and notice that say ``do not post print profile`` you have THE perfect print profile and model huh? It was not well made to be print, the P1S logo is not on the build plate so you have to print with support but it doesn't look good even with YOUR profile and we can see even on the one you printed yourself it dosen't look good. You will say it look better the logo not flush but no. You can't say someone is bad at 3d printing because the model were not good to be printed with all filament. A good model should be printable with ALL filament. I made and posted one that don't need support it was EASY 🀣 You reported it because he give you 4 star and you say it's because he is not good at 3dprinting not because of your profile WT*?? HE USE YOUR PRINT PROFILE! Now report me. It will probably backfire

Support was ON I use your print profile but its bad and the model its not well made was possible to make a model that don't need support I made one. We can see even on your print that where there was support there is like strings.

Can't wait to see it in action once I'm up and running again. Printed great in PETG. Glad someone devised a solution to the stuck filament issue!

i had trouble sourcing the silicone wiper, so I made a jig where you can fit any piece to the perfect size including the 2mm depth, I will upload and tag yours soon.

einwandfrei. komisch dass mein P1S das so gut in PETG gedruckt hat obwohl ich mit dem Filament noch nie einen vernΓΌnftigen Druck mit dem Bambu Slicer hinbekommen habe.
