Now with CURVES and FIRE!
My original model was based on a low poly mesh. I took the time to carefully remodel the entire thing, so now it prints with nice smooth edges. Since I was remodeling it, I modified the interior of the pieces so they print with significantly less support material. The whole model with flame now takes ~400g of filaments using my profile. Due to scaling differences, this is not directly compatible with my previous model. As with the original model you may want to play with XY Hole Compensation to make the parts fit tighter or looser. I went with .1mm that gave a fairly loose fit. Filament will effect this so you may want to do some testing before printing the whole model.
The flame prints in two pieces and is pressed together. I printed using Sunlu Orange Transparent PLA. If you'd like to support my work, consider buying the filament using the affiliate link below.
