The Cable Label

A simple zip tie with space to write and label your cables. When you're trying to locate a cable behind a TV or under a desk it can be difficult to tell which cable leads where. These labels are a simple and effective way of labelling all of your cables so they can be easily identified.

  • Use different colours for different cables
  • Quick and easy print
  • No supports required
  • Minimal filament used

Note: PETG or an equivalent filament is recommended to ensure the required flexibility of material.

Printed very well in PETG HF. Also tried in TPU 95A HF. The zip tie was very flexible, but the hole was too loose and it wouldn’t stay tight. Would it be possible to get a TPU version with a smaller hole, or larger catches? Could you make a version of the label that could fit the 1/2 label tape?

Great idea, I printed in PLA and they pretty easily broke. PETG worked great. Thank you!

printed very cleanly! my filament is too inflexible for these unfortunately (only have PLA) but I’ll definitely print more when I get more appropriate filament!

Printed with PLA. PETG would be better but that’s user error. still will work great on my cube organizers for clothes. I added text to the labels. I just colored with sharpie so it would be an easier print.

Little filament is required, I labeled the tags with a label maker
