Description

This little tool is designed to temporary hold 19" network components, which makes their installation easier.

Just clamp it to the rack and use it as a “third hand”.

In case the clamping force isn't high enough for your equipment, you can optionally add a M6 screw from the front.

BOM

  • M6x50 screw and M6 nut for main screw
  • M6x30 screw and M6 nut for optional front screw
  • also optional 3* 6x3mm Magnets for stowing the tool on metal surfaces

The second M6 nut and the magnets need to be inserted mid print.

Don't use the print profile, if you would like to use these features,

as you will need to add pauses to the print to insert them.

No supported needed, when orientated as on the last picture.

Super handy, simple to print and use. No support, straight forward. Works very well in PLA aswell. Tried them both and maybe UPS weights would need the ABS one, but servers with PLA, no problemo.

Hello @chrisax212 , should the nut add at layer 172 and the magnets at 369, is this correct?

Hey, with 0.2mm layer height you should only have 215 layers. Add a pause at 213 for the magnets and at65 for the nut. See last picture for optimal build plate oriantation.
