Description

Beware of immitators! This is the ORIGINAL Modular Mini-Golf game on MakerWorld!

The most important part of working in an office is avoiding doing actual work! Procrastinate all day long with Nardo's Modular desktop mini-golf set! Arrange dozens of tiles to create unlimited unique miniature golf holes.

Featuring a grid-based modular design (heavily inspired by the Gridfinity system-but much smaller). Includes nearly two dozen unique tiles, with more to come in the future!

Putter is designed to fit on the end of a standard Bic “Round Stic” style pen.

UPDATE 1/24/2024 - Updated tile quantities based on feedback & testing, as well as a more robust putter design!

Ball not included - I recommend a 9 to 10 mm plastic ball bearing (easily found on Amazon) or you can try printing a 10mm sphere.

Tip: A vacuum pen (example: https://www.amazon.com/YXQ-Vacuum-Sucking-Suction-headers/dp/B07MLW5TKP) makes lifting the flat tiles a breeze!

Choking Hazard! Small parts, not for children under 3!

very fun. recommendation - print a connector piece to combine grid base plates next to each other, for both the long and short edges

This is fantastic! Printed very well - no issues at all. I added a pause for manual filament change and it worked fine. I designed a 10mm Golf ball to use with your setup. If anyone's interested, it can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/379037#profileId-279081

Just printed most of the parts and it's a very fun model. Will likely bring this to the office to help everyone procrastinate. However I have some suggestions/annotations: * limit the amount of objects per plate to less then 64. Otherwise the Skip feature does not work. I had 2 of the small tiles detach while printing and it messed up the other tiles. I rearranged the plates for my print but (fortunately) had no failure afterwards to make use of the skipping * the holes&tees plate needs a LOT of filament changes for these few tiny parts. I printed them in one color to avoid this but maybe a redesign would help here,too * the putter breaks very easily. I ended up using the one from this model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/153611#profileId-167838 but I like your putter design using a pen more because this fits well in an office space :) An alternative putter which you can put on your finger tip would also be funny

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! The print profile has been updated based on your input and my own play testing: The putter has been redesigned to be more robust, I've reduced the number of tiles per plate, and removed the color from the holes and tee (color really didn't add much to those.) Love the modular design. Printed without issue. Printed in memory of Putt-Putt Golf Courses with BL Matte PLA in Charcoal, Scarlet Red, and Grass Green.

You need to make sure your filament is very well tuned, but this is an EXCELLENT model. The regular print profile worked great on my A1 Mini, I just rearranged some things (and used the grid from the A1 Mini) and it worked. I'm gonna design some tiles and add them to the remixes, as my son loves this and wants me to design some stuff for him to play with his friends. Thank you for the model!
