Description

Another small project, but one sure to appeal to order maniacs. Here I am with a small toolbox for our printers. Measure in mm 200*150*56 divided into 2 parts, a bottom and a liftable compartment, all held with 4x2 n52 round magnets, 6 to keep the detachable compartment in place, and 2 to close the transparent cover (I tried to make it transparent but......) there are hinges on the back, I made them separate from the bottom so that if they break they can be changed. These use M3 metal inserts and M3x6 screws to be joined to the bottom, while M3x30 screws were used to hold the hinges to the lid (the 25mm ones are also fine with a light filing on the lid) and M3 nuts (if you can use the self-locking ones so the lid turns freely without tightening them too much).
The bottom compartments are quite large and high, the compartment is made up of pockets suitable for many spare parts, nozzle V6 and volcano, heatbreak, and heatblock V6 and Volcano including silicon sock, the pockets are also suitable for other heatblock formats, I looked on the net I averaged the measurements for the capacity of many models. The compartment is always accompanied by printed labels, I have created several to cover a wide choice, there are both in abbreviated and extended form, they have seats for guides, but to keep them in place I preferred to use simple double-sided tape to put behind the labels, so they can be removed and changed as needed. The lid has a slot for a logo (I made everything separate so you can print a custom one using mine as a reference) this too has a slot for a guide but not to stop it, you can use double sided tape here too I simply have 3 holes so that if you put another logo with a little hot glue, it goes into the holes and holds it in place. Finally, on the bottom there are feet always with a guide but then stopped with glue or double-sided tape.
Note well, the magnets on the bottom container must go all the way in, then you can secure them with a drop of glue, while the magnets of the compartment and lid that must go underneath, come out halfway, so that when closing the magnets enter guided in the seats and keep everything closed by magnets. The through holes that can be seen are used in case the magnets need to be removed, just insert and push with a nail.
