Description
This organizer is intended for your desk or 3D printer organizational needs. It features a mid-century feel with 6 separated storage areas. The included drawer should be used, but is not a requirement. The drawer handle requires 2 M3x12 bolts and is comprised of 3 pieces:
Handle Support - Print 2x
Handle - Print 1x
Print Settings
A brim may help with the handle pieces, but it is not necessary. No other special settings are needed.
Drawer Assembly Instructions
Insert both bolts through the holes in the drawer.
Slide the Handle Supports over the bolts. The flat end should be against the drawer.
Carefully screw the bolts into the handle. DO NOT OVERTIGTHEN. Because the handle is so small, it will crack if you overtighten the bolts. This is especially true if you use a silk filament.
Be sure to orient the curved end of the Handle Support correctly so that it pairs with the profile of the Handle.
great piece, so many compliments, already gifted 2, Fyi i made the 5 missing drawers, I wont upload them as an addon, because i designed them using slicer tools only (as I don’t know CAD), as such they require post processing.
i printed it in pa6-gf it came out really awesome looking and feeling. have more nylon filament than ill ever use so i thought why not lol. not sure whats with the color banding maybe this is variable Layer height sliced?
All layer heights are identical. Could the banding come from the filament itself? I haven't seen anything like that from my print any prints from others.
yeah it must be something with the filament. it actually looks really nice but i never remember that happening before. i have 10 kg of this stuff from a couple yrs ago. polymaker polymide pa6-gf
oh well. i really like how it came out, ill print the drawer later. :)
It's wrapped in a 3M vinyl called Di-Noc. Actually bright green filament under the vinyl, just sprey painted the inside black as I don't have the dexterity to wrap the inside with the vinyl.
