Description

Battery box for 16x AAA & AA batteries.

Easy assembly, just have to push both parts together.

AA box is scaled to 140% of original size.

great print and very tough box, but it‘s a bit difficult to open and close as the retaining clip does not have a lot of flex. with a bit of sanding it‘s perfect.

I printed this in PLA, its a great box but would be even better with snap lock hinge. The hinge is really tight, should I have printed it in another material?

hello, I printed out the V2 AA case on a x1c carbon and came out lovely, but the hinge is super tight and difficult to open and close. it was printed in PLA but should I use a different material, this box would be prefect with a flip hinge

Other Issues:when attaching lid to box, hinge will break. only way to attach is pushing with a lot of force due to design. Will try again if hinge gets an overhaul. Love the design though!

Thanks for your feedback.. I have printed over 80 of these and never had an issue with assembly

I used pla+ if that matters. the hinge did not want to go at all. not sure why. I did 2 of these and they both ended the same way. the box itself is awesome and rugged especially if you use gyroid infill ($2.51/2 boxes!) but the hinge is a b***h to connect.
