Brick Customizer Generate Any Size Block or Plate

Please test with the 2x4 Block first, tested with Bambu Basic, results may vary. Adjust Stud Diameter or Clamps in the customizer if you find the defaults don't work with your filament.

CREATE BLOCKS AND PLATES ON DEMAND

This parametric brick generator lets you create exactly the piece you need. It's compatible with standard bricks and can be fine-tune to allow for different printer and filament tolerances.

Test prints were done on a P1S using Sunlu and Bambu PLA filaments. They both shrunk about 10% -15% on the studs so they have been set to 5mm rather than 4.8mm for a regular brick stud. If you find the clamping too loose or too tight you can adjust the stud diameter with the customizer tool. 

CUSTOMISE YOUR BRICKS:

• Select between plate or block types
• Adjust stud count for exact dimensions
• Control height in standard brick increments
• Fine-tune wall thickness and stud diameter for optimal fit

• For a 1x1 block or plate adjust the wall thickness to 1.6mm (V1)

   

PERFECT FOR:

• Replacing lost or broken pieces
• Creating bricks in colours not commercially available
• Custom project needs where standard sizes don't exist
• Hobbyist sculptors requiring specific brick configurations
   

PRINTING TIPS:

• Recommended layer height: 0.12mm-0.2mm for best stud detail
• PLA works well for most applications
• Print the 2x4 Block first to test tolerances
