Description

NEW IMPROVED VERSION TILT PHONE STAND V3.0 🥳

At the request of your reviews, I modified the knob to make it more ergonomic and easier to turn. You can find it in the new profile.

The stand allowing you to comfortably and securely hold your mobile phone at the optimal viewing angle.

  • It is not necessary to glue the parts here. Everything is printed in one piece.
  • There is an improved guide groove that does not allow slipping.
  • The gears fit together better, which allows for more comfortable tilting.
  • The adjustable gear contains a groove, which allows the exact position of the gears.
  • No gluing is needed here
  • Smooth design

When first installed, it is possible that the gear will be tight in the base. It is necessary to turn the adjustable gear a few times so that the gear has a smooth movement.

printed at .16, changed the knobs to a different colour so they stand out a little and added a small cylinder to the knob so its a bit nicer on the fingers

Excellent work, can you also do a spare gear that connects to the new gear as mine broke off and is useless now. Thank you

Great looking print. It can hold an iPad easily. One suggestion I have would be to make the adjustment knob more ergonomic. It's a little uncomfortable.making adjustments and possible to pinch yourself.

hi mate i just added a profile that may help with that, makes a small modification to the knob so its not as aggressive, for that exact reason

For anyone having the same issue as i had of the stand not holding your phone's weight, i made a different set of gears that screw into each-other and offer more friction to the axle housing effectively squeezing it tighter so that the gears don't interact so smoothly and tilting your phone backwards as it did mine (iphone 12 pro max)

Nice design and gears work just fine. Liked it I printed with the modified knopp and I would suggest two things for improvement adding some holes at button for rubber legs or such so you can move yhr knop with holding the mobel homder with the other hand 2nd would also suggest to make the know stick out a bit more to make it easier to grap with one hand. my son saw and and he took it ❤️❤️

The print is great. Easy to assemble, and the updated design operates smoothly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because for today's phones that are tall, the model rotates and the phone ends up being horizontal to the table surface. It might be nice to add a 'pin' to the print so once you have the phone adjusted to the desired angle, you place the pin within the gears to prevent it from rotating.

You can try this model with wider base and other improvements. I had similar issues like you - stability! :) Not anymore with V3.0... https://makerworld.com/en/models/170227#profileId-188592

Just printed it. Very nice :) 3 things i would change tho. 1 would be to make the wheel to rotate it with just 4 bumbs so you have more grip, 2 would be to make for example the hole where the whole phone stander is hold in place bigger, because even with the wheel its pretty hard to adjust the rotation. 3rd would be to leave a small hole in it, big enough to get a charger through so you can charge it too

Cool design. One additional point from my side. I think to modify a handle or create an new one would work better.
