I have created an elegant box with a curved lid that is not only practical but also a real eye-catcher. 🤩
Why this box? 🤔

- Lots of space: On the outside, it has a diameter of 150mm and a height of 130mm including the handle. Inside, it offers usable dimensions of 142.5mm diameter and 72mm height. There's plenty of room!

Printing: The lid requires support structure on the underside. The slicer's default settings cause the surface printed on the support structure to look very poor. So I adjusted the settings until I was satisfied with the result. The surface now looks really good, considering it was printed on support!
All you have to do is let the part cool down a bit after printing and carefully remove the support structure with pliers. As you can see in the image, the support structure can be removed in two or three connected pieces.
These are the settings for the support to come out nicely:
Before printing, make sure your build plate is clean and apply some adhesive. Wash the build plate with oil free soap and wipe it off with some paper towels. For build plate adhesion, apply a thin, even coat of your preferred adhesive. I repeat the process every 5-6 prints.
Bad build plate adhesion is not related to the model.
Needed Tools: pliers
Needed non printed parts: none
After printing: carefully remove the support structure with pliers
Hotend: 0,40mm
Filament: i printed it with PLA black and sunflower yellow
