Description

What is This?

The Anansi Hexapod Robot is a 3D-printable hexapod frame based on 24 Dynamixel MX-28 Robot Actuators. The design is radially symmetrical and offers mounting points for custom electronic components to be added.

Yeah 😅 I don't recommend this project unless you can borrow the motors from a university like I could. There are a few good (and much cheaper) hexapod projects elsewhere on the internet too :)

The Dynamixel MX-28 are 259USD each, so just above 6000 USD in total 😅 Is there any reason for using such high end servos?

My university let me borrow them fortunately. I wouldn't recommend using the same servos unless you're very rich, but I'm unsure about the compatability of my model with other servos.
