Parametric Hexapod designed purely in OpenSCAD.
I wanted to create a hexapod that I would animate in OpenSCAD exactly the same way that it's programmed to move in the arduino code.
So both the OpenSCAD and Arduino code have the exactly same kinematic code and work the same way.
To animate the hexapod open Hex_Walk.scad and enable the animation with View → Animate. Enter values for FSP and Steps (e.g. 10, 30) and enjoy some kinematic code in action! If your CPU doesn't have enough power to render the full model, set “simple=1” and it'll render a much less complex model, but with all the same kinematics.
*Note I have uploaded the Arduino ino source code as “NanoHex.ino.scad” as the ino file format extension is not supported. Please rename it after downloading! - The source code has comments on the wiring pins required for the PS2 controller etc.
