Description

Introduction:

This design is originally by user @dpolz_208124 from printales.com. The original design is available under the Creative Commons Public Domain License, allowing me to distribute it further. At this point, however, a huge thanks to the designer and for making his project available.

Print Settings:

  • Filament: PLA, PETG or ABS
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Walls: 6 or more
  • Top/Bottom: 5 or more
  • Infill: 20%, gyorid
  • Support: Yes
  • Speed: Normal speed (used 0.2mm Strength X1C Profile)

Post-Printing Processes:

After printing, remove the supports. For example, drill a hole using a stepped drill bit until the refill cap fits into the hole. Secure the cap inside the hole with a compatible adhesive. Optionally, use a seal approximately 19-21mm in diameter on the refill cap plug.

 

Changelog:

12.01.2024:

After one good print, I ran into some issues, so I had to edit the print profile.

  • added XY hole and contour compensation for a better fitting of the two parts
  • increased perimeters (using the Bambu Studio 0.2mm strength profile)
  • modified the Infill density and pattern
  • set support to manual
  • now, the profile contains settings for PLA, PETG, and ABS plates.
