Description
Forced Reset Hanger
The FRH.
This wall hanger design uses the weight of your jacket to keep the hook open. When the jacket or item is removed, an 8x2mm magnet repels the hook, triggering an automatic close for a clean, seamless look.
Installation Requirements:
Screws: Two 5mm screws are required for mounting. Choose the flattest screw heads possible for a flush fit, though the 5mm rear openings provide plenty of space.
Magnets: Two 8x2mm magnets are needed. Ensure they are positioned with like poles facing each other (North to North) to repel each other, enabling the auto-close feature. If installed incorrectly, the mechanism won’t close automatically.
======================================================
Make sure to inset magnets so they push away from each other. Example you should place the north (N) poles of both magnets facing each other (N to N). When like poles of magnets are brought together, they repel each other.
