Before installation, you can slide the basket onto the holder a few times to get the mechanism really smooth - it's very quick! Have fun trying it out!

Highlights:

• Quick to print (1-2h, depending on basket size), no supports and after printing you only have to push the basket onto the holder a few times and everything runs smoothly 
• Basket snaps in easily and can be pulled off to the front 
• Different basket sizes and if no basket is attached, you can still use the holder as a poop deflector (very useful if you only occasionally have large multi-colored prints) - my favorite size is “S” by the way 
• The baskets are light and stable but also flexible (due to the flexibility of the walls, nothing happens if something gets stuck somewhere - this is sometimes criticized, but I want it and it should actually be standard for parts that are attached to moving parts of the printer) 
• Printable TPU inserts if you want a very quiet solution (alternatively you can fold a piece of paper or similar) 
• No holes and logos - this makes everything more minimalistic and no small strips or threads get caught when emptying the basket 
• For the larger baskets I have inserts that make the bottom slanted, these hardly need any filament and are very light. 
• The holder is very stable on the printer 
• The curves and small design details are based on the design and dimensions of the A1 
• Space to throw the test strips and smaller supports directly into the basket (even with the smallest basket)

Story and information behind the model:

When I got my A1 mini, I had no free space to the left of my printer, so I had to resort to solutions attached to the printer. The baskets that were available in the beginning were very limited and impractical for everyday use (at that time there were only fixed or very playful ones)

That's why I created a system that is minimalist and flexible.

Christmas Update 17.12.24

• The holder is now easier to attach, which should solve a stability problem for some.
• Basket size L has been added.
• For basket sizes L and XL, there is now an insert that makes the base sloping without increasing the weight significantly, which can be found in the pressure profiles for the respective sizes.

Update 27.01.2024:

• Vibration damping mats that you can print with TPU are now available for the standard basket and the BIGBOY basket (see instructions before printing).
• All purge deflectors for Standard mini pms sitting now more stable on the purge wiper than the old version.
• The BIG BOY basket is slightly smaller at the back, which has solved a problem when used on the A1 mini.
• The stronger basket lock for special Filaments - purge deflector for Standard mini pms is now suitable for most PLA-Matte filaments without grinding.
  • Very strong basket lock version which you can than customize by grinding has also been added
• A version of the purge deflector for Standard mini pms with greater tolerance is now available (try other versions first before printing)

Update 26.01.2024:

• The baskets for the standard mini PMS (standard basket and BIG BOY basket) are now slightly larger on the right-hand side to catch more of the threads that sometimes fall off the right-hand side of the purge wiper.
• The bevel under the BambuLab lettering has been modified to make it easier for the printer to produce a beautiful result.

New stronger basket lock version of the Standard deflector added if problems with the basket lock occur (like when using PLA-Matte)

 

Major Update 15.01.2024:

• The old mini-pms is now called Lightweight mini pms, the new one is called Standard mini pms or just mini pms
• All mini pms editions:
  • Fixed adapter (the oval to stuck the mini pms on the printer), see hot fix update 15.01.2024
  • The slider (holder) for the “baskets for mini pms” now click slightly in
  • Chamfer bottom edge instead of rounded for an smoother print
• Standard mini pms (new ones):
  • Significantly more stable than the lightweigt edition thanks to the thicker "purge reflector for standard mini pms".
  • The standard basket is now slightly larger, making it much easier to throw the test strips in and less of the purge shooter goes astray
• Standard mini pms BIG BOY:
  • Thanks to the new design, it is now possible to attach a much larger basket without any losses, the mini BIG BOY (maybe in future comes also a deeper one)
