The A1 bin is slightly wider, to accommodate the bed side of the A1's purge extractor.

The A1-mini version is 13mm thinner and can actually be used for both printers if that is your preference, though the wider one will only work on the larger A1.

This is a remix of the excellent purge bin made by dubios. I modified this so that the filament poop falls down and forward so that the nugget can be easily scooped out during printing. I also made it slightly thicker so that it is sturdier during printing.

I imported the STL file into sketchup and made my changes and then exported it to the printer.

The bin is still 'hot swappable' thanks to dubios' excellent carriage design. I made this because I hate the rattle of the filament poop in the basket during printing and I don't have any TPU filament, so I designed this as an alternative to using a soft material in the bin.

I have also added a TPU mat file for each of the versions if you want to put a mat inside the bin.

What I'd love to see is a tpu inlay for this. duios42's bucket system is amazing, but the walls are a bit flimsy for my taste. I'd love to combine your very beautiful and sturdy design with his tpu layer, but lack the cad experience for it.

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words. hmm, a tpu layer? shouldn't be hard to do, considering that TPU is basically just a mat, I can figure out the area of the inner surface and give you the final dimensions of a tpu pad that would fit perfectly if you like - or you can cut some material. I'll get back to you shortly with that data.
