I like the storage size and options this spare box provided but the downside was how the lid connected. The clip holding the lid to the base were a super pain to get on. Originally I wanted to go with a hinge, but then I remembered I had a bunch of left over 20 x 5 x 2mm magnets from building Pursa Enclosures in the past and it was much less work. Basically I removed the studs for the clips and cut out material for the squares to press in to. I had to increase the thickness of the lid by 1mm as well so there was enough depth for the magnets, but I bumped it up to .28 layer height so it prints faster anyway.
**UPDATE SINCE COVER PHOTO - I decided to make cut outs in the base next to the nozzle wire channels to add more storage space since it seemed a shame to waste it
The actual size of the magnet cut out holes are 19.7 x 4.9 x 2mm, because that was closer to the actual measurement of mine and I wanted a closer press fit, tho super glue will be used regardless. THESE ARE THE ONES I USED
Now using the lid is super easy and is held in place by the magnets.
