Magnetic fidget with infinite possibilities. Great for endless play, focus and for learning skill requiring tricks.
For multi-color, use AMS or change filament manually after layers 23 and 57.
Select plate based on what magnets you are going to use. The more the better! Install magnets from top layer side, orientation doesn't matter. The fit is snug! Requests for other magnet sizes welcome! Links to used magnets below!
I used 1pc D12x3 with countersunk hole + 2pcs D10x3 on each cog (Plate 1) in the videos with great success. Using only 2pcs D10x3 (Plate 2) is also tested to work well, but they do not have as strong bond.
Magnets required for one Cog:
- Plate 1: 1pc D12x3 + optional D10 magnets
- Plate 2: 2pcs D10x3 OR 3pcs D10x2
- Plate 3: 2pcs D12x3 OR 3pcs D12x2
Single plate prints 4x Cogs.
