Description

Tool to assist in the disassembly of car panels and the like. It allows you to easily get in between panels by levering the panels out of their fixed position.

The tool needs to be strong and tough. I found Nylon and perhaps PETG a good choice to fabricate this tool with. The hand of the tool is about 100mm long. One end of the tool is thicker and stronger than the other. Here is my 3D tool design.

To keep the tool 3D printing simple, the print only tapers the tips in one dimension. As an optional post processing step, I filed the ends a little to round them off.

My print is made in 1.75mm Polymaker Polymide Nylon filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a Bambu X1 Carbon printer. I also specified a perimeter of 5 lines. Print supports are not required. Part is by default orientated in the way I printed it on the printer bed which should give it maximum strength.

I hope you can find this print useful, too.

Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
