Description

This Dragon egg deck box for commander Magic the Gathering.

-Holds over 100+ cards sleeved

-Can fit BCW snap mini for your commander

-If you print on a smooth bed plate, you can almost make the egg connection look seamless when screwed together

-uses hybrid support system when printing

-If you have a p1s or x1 carbon, turn off the aux fan and the case fan down to 10% unless you are running a filter.

love bambu silk multi color. prints really nicely with minimal stringing. this project cried out to be used with this pla. the deck box now houses my Ur dragon deck!

This came out beautifully, but I must be missing something because the lid doesnt fit at all. I printed on a P1S, from mobile, and the lid doesn't have enough space to screw onto the bottom.

In the top piece is support material you need to remove from it like the pics in the model profile

The first one I printed for my son in dual colored silk came out perfect!!! 2nd in tri color silk for the hubby and I think filament must have twisted on me. 3rd attempt same thing, mismatched color lines. Frustrating for a 15 hour print and 400g filament. Not your fault tho!!! Any tips for preventing that in the future would be welcome. Or any ways to reduce how much filament is used for supports? Cheers!

I noticed certain dual color filaments print one way over another. I like Amolen brand but their gold/red always prints weird. but their purple black prints in a faded color and the egg is aligned a certain way so when you close it, the shade colors will align as well. so don’t move egg on print bed if you can help it

the thread works really well and even with a color gradient it always closes at the right spot 🙌🏻

The egg is a great print template. The thread runs cleanly and you can hardly see the transition from the lower part to the upper part when closed. Very nice. I covered the individual scales with fuzzy skin and added a crown. Thanks for creating and sharing.
