Description

Do NOT adjust the thickness (Z) in your slicer!! The layers will not come out right. You CAN adjust the other dimensions (X,Y) though to make it bigger or smaller, just not the thickness.

 

These were my settings and colors for my print that you see in the picture. Your results may vary depending on the filament you use and if you have your own HueForge profile saved with different settings.

 

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

 

Nozzle: 0.4

 

Filaments Used:

PLA Hatchbox True Black Transmission Distance: 0.4

PLA BambuLab Basic Red Transmission Distance: 5

PLA Sunlu Gold Transmission Distance: 5

PLA Sunlu White Transmission Distance: 5

 

Swap Instructions:

Start with True Black
At layer #28 (2.32mm) swap to Red
At layer #31 (2.56mm) swap to Gold
At layer #33 (2.72mm) swap to White for the rest

I know what you mean, but I guess you can save a bit of time and material when you make it thinner. But I guess everyone have and differente taste on this, because that I gave 5 stars anyway, cause there are for sure people who prefer the thicker ones. :) Have a great weekend.

Thank you for the feedback! I found during testing with a black background it was less floppy and more durable at this thickness. ☺️

This turned out AMAZING! I used sulu black pla, sunlu red pla+, hatchbox true gold, and bambu white. Also, didn't change settings at all..I just used the 3mf file provided. Excellent work! I plan on printing more of this designers hueforge things! Keep em coming, please. =)
