Description

IF YOU LIKE THIS MODEL GIVE ME A “THUMBS-UP” SO MORE PEOPLE CAN DISCOVER THIS MODEL. THANKS

This is my Remix of the FanMod V1 from @AnsgarOdinson

V2:

I added some little knobs to prevent Falling off during Vibrations or like 100% blowing Fan.

V1:

It bothered me that the front area in the direction of the glass door can hardly or not at all be reached by the fan's air flow. That's why I designed my first version of the VanModsV1 to control the airflow somewhat without converting or even completely removing the entire fan.

This mod ensures better air distribution over almost the entire print bed and prevents the workpiece from being blown at specific points and the front area from being omitted.

Installation:

Simply click into the original fan. It should sit firmly in the fan without complications and should also be easy to remove.

Looks great and really helps spread out the air. Hardly ever have any issues with the fan blowing the left side of prints off of the bed after installing this.

LOL I thought that was by design! ha! Maybe that's why I don't have any issues with the fan blowing up prints anymore.

Took me a while to carefully remove two printed supports. It sits inside of the fan in a bit loose (my issue?). Might reprint with ABS/ASA/PETG in the near future and see if it fits better. As always, looks great together with other author's models. It actually spreads out aux airflow a bit better. Thus, 5 stars.

perfect print. only used tree supports and brim with .15 gap. was super easy to remove the supports. probably could have done it without support. thanks for the great model.

Very cool design and make. I did not put 4 stars even though the left side lifted from the bed due to the aux fan being too direct because the print still works and fits perfectly. I suspect the bed lifting issue could be resolved by moving the print completely to the right side of the bed, or reducing the aux fan speed, but now that I have this installed I am guessing the air distribution will solve the issue for future prints. Thank you very much.

I printed in ASA. Scaled to 101% horizontal and 104% vertical (relative to the slot) to fit snugly.
