Introduction

EU inspired license plate keychains that can be customized.

In Denmark the “ring” in the license plate is red, which is what you also see from the pictures, but you can always just change it to another color (like black) if you want.

The keychain size is 70mm x 13mm x 3.5mm.

How to add your own text:

Method 1 (Recommended):

Use the built-in customizer in MakerWorld to set text and dimensions without having to download the file and import it to either Fusion or Bambu Studio first. 

Multicolor printing: 

When you open the file in Bambu Studio, you will notice that your plate only consists of one object. 

To change the colors, simply right click on “Parametric_Model_Maker.stl” and select Split > To Parts

Make sure to Resync your filaments with your AMS, as you will most likely only see one filament when opening the file. 

After splitting to parts and resyncing with the AMS, you can start colorizing each part. 

If you get a message about floating areas, you can just ignore that. 

Method 2:

You can add your own text by opening the .f3d file in Fusion 360, locating the Text sketch, and editing it to your liking.

The default text height is 8.6mm, but it can be easily adjusted for longer text if needed.

Method 3:

You can also download one of the empty/blank templates. These do not contain any text, which means that you can just go straight to Bambu Studio (or another slicer), and add the text on top of the model using the text feature

You can then colorize the text input as a separate object afterwards from the objects overview.
