Description

I designed this simple rolling monster truck since most of the vehicles I found uploaded already were either decorations (did not roll) or not modeled well (mismatch in sizes between axles/wheels, hard to print, etc).

The 3mf file includes 2 separate plates, one with 4 wheels and one with the 2 axles and main body. The main body is designed to be printed on it's side. It's recommended to use a brim and tree supports for the axles. Depending on your printer's tolerances, the filament you use, and whether brims are used or not, the fit of the axles in the wheels may vary. You will likely need to glue the axles into the wheels with super glue or similar.

design and print profile is good. I used painting to change up the colors and the text feature to add the kid’s name. axels had a bit of extra length so I modeled up a 2mm spacer to go between the wheels and the body. not necessary though. overall really good design. Easy to print and easy to customize. Thanks!

my little boy LOVES this thing. Works great. I scaled it down a bit and still rolls fine.

Axle breaks very easily. 😕

My kids are a little rough and quickly broke my PLA hollow axles. I sacrificed some aesthetics to make them stronger by printing the axles sideways and increasing wall count.
