This is a simple tool for cutting painter's tape to use as labels for Gridfinity bins that have provisions for 1 unit wide labels. I have over 100 years of combined hardware to organize, and if you're like me, once you have a bin that fits a certain hardware, you might have to change it if you need to stock more or find more hidden away.
Painter's tape has been the best for me as I'm figuring out what needs to go where, cheap, holds well, mark it with a sharpie, and rip it off if it needs to be changed. The biggest issue was cutting the tape to fit, finicky to do with scissors or a blade. I wanted something that would measure and cut the right sized label each time. I even got fancy for just some dumb welder, and made a ergonomic grip, serrated teeth on the cutting edge.
