Description
Model of a splitter for AMS Lite designed for using an external spool without constant disconnecting of the PTFE tube.
Designed for PTFE tubes with an outer diameter of 4 mm and an inner diameter of 2.6 mm. Same as used by BambuLab.
The openings for PTFE tubes are intentionally tighter; try to insert the PTFE as deeply as possible."
- It is designed above the print head (see the photo, the length of the lower tube is approximately 40 mm).
- Before installation, it is necessary to disconnect all PTFE tubes and thread them through the splitter."
- It is necessary to insert the tubes firmly into the splitter to avoid tube falling out or filament jamming. Be cautious about tube crimping or potential breakage.
When not using an external spool, it is necessary to have the filament retracted outside the splitter. This will clear the path for filament from AMS. When using an external spool, it is necessary to do the same, simply rotate the filament spool.
