Description

This is the LED version of the Suspended Millennium Falcon that i originally remix from aaskedall from thingerverse..

In this version i added path to add in LED strips.. good news is the LED path model is an addon so you dont have to reprint the whole suspended model again and just print the LED addon STL.. the suspended ship can simply slide into the LED addon model.. its more of a stand for the suspended milennium falcon..

Im currently using USB RGB LED lights that can control the colors.. should you be interested to get the same one.. you can buy them through my affiliate link here:
5V USB RGB LED Strip Light https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oEk0hDa
you'll just need the 0.5meter strips for the suspended milennium falcon..

Great file! Turned out abssolutely perfect with the exception of 2 broken strings when I removed it from the plate

Yerp.. You need to be very careful when removing suspended models from the plate.. They're very fragile

couple of strings broke but over all print came out really nice

Did you use supports? I tried tree supports and it got so tangled in the string it was impossible to remove without having to remove the strings. Now the Falcon is not suspended. I tried to splice it without supports in Bambu - not sure how it will turn out but wanted to see before I dedicate 20 plus hours to the print. Thank you!

I didn't use any supports just slowed the print down

I LOVE the suspended models, please keep making them!!!! The only suggestion I would make on this one is add 'windows' on the outer shell between the string attachment points so that you could look in and see the detail of the ship itself, since it has so much detail on it.

Excellent work, and I've really enjoyed printing your various SW 'suspended' models. But I've had some problems with this one. I've downloaded and opened in OrcaSlicer and snapped a segment of where the strands attach to the outer shell. It looks to me like the strands don't align with the outer shell. They seem okay on the MF part though.
