Description

Hi folks,

do you own a prusa MMU2S? Did you ever use the included Spoolholders? Neither did I, but I kept the parts, at least the spool shafts and the bearings.

So I had the idea to use the spool shafts for something. 120mm length and pretty rigid, so I thought of a new stand for my headphones and it turned our pretty great.

Building is straight forward, use my provided print profile or use your defaults. The only tweaks I did, was adding tree supports for the top part due the angled holes and adding a brim to the smaller parts, to prevent failure. Also changed to gyroid infill and increased walls amount a bit.

I did use tough PLA, but anything should do really.

You need 8 of the spool shafts and then simply connect the pieces. The two segment pieces are the same size, so order doesn't matter. It's a tight fit, but managable.

I added to versions of the top part, which holds the headphones. One with a lip, one without. It's length is 75mm without and 70mm with the lip. Total height is around 300mm.

Have a great day!
