Description

Pocket EDC Saw – A Compact Saw for Versatile Use

It is a practical and versatile pocket saw designed for everyday carry (EDC). Its compact size and simple construction make it an ideal tool for various situations.

Key Features:

  • 3D Printable Case: The durable case can be easily printed using a 3D printer.
  • Interchangeable Blades: Compatible with different 100mm saw blades for metal and wood, ensuring adaptability to various tasks.
  • Compact Design: Lightweight and portable, suitable for outdoor enthusiasts, DIYers, and professionals who value practical tools.
  • Easy Blade Replacement: Quick and simple blade exchange

The 3mm hole for the pin in the hinge will probably need to be reworked slightly with a 3mm drill. As an alternative to the printed pin, a 3mm metal pin can also be used

Well thought out. Super lightweight. in a pinch, can be a handle for anything that fits in a reciprocating saw (pictured)

Nice design. Sliding lock is a bit of a tight fit, but holds a blade securely.

Other Issues:unfortunately everything is too tight, the slider cannot be pushed open maybe I need to recalibrate the filament again

Thanks for your feedback However I find the low rating somewhat incomprehensible or at least premature when you yourself write that your printer or filament needs to be recalibrated The model has been successfully tested many times and fits exactly with correct printer settings Perhaps you will reconsider your rating after another print attempt 🙂 It should also be very tight otherwise the saw blade wobbles

Well, the print profiles should simply work with the original filament and the generic filament profile Just like that Insert filament and hit start in the app It's not like I'm the only one Also in random Nick's review you can read that he had to scale the pins to 97% But that only works with a PC and not in the app

You don't know 3D Printing. Just stop rating things till you do. The model was perfect for me. L2Print

A compact and clever model for on the go. The EDC pocket saw printed without any issues, stores conveniently, and is ready for use quickly when needed. A well-thought-out solution for outdoor activities, camping, or an emergency kit. Very well executed

Any way I could get this for a 150mm blade?

May I please have a version that fits the 6 Inch blades, much appreciated. Going to have a rough cut wood saw, and a separate metal cutting one.
