Description

My daughter wanted a version of my Fidget Tracks model (https://makerworld.com/en/models/1010339#profileId-989750) that would be easier for her to take to school. Thus, the Tiny Fidget Tracks were born. Too thick to be a ring but it still slides over one finger for a more manageable size.

NOTE: the track may be a bit stiff immediately off the printer. Simply turn the track around the core a few times squeezing with slight pressure and it should loosen up quickly.

NOTE: depending on personal preference or filament type the track may be too loose (for some it even falls off). There is a set of profiles with “Tighter Tolerances” in the name you can try if this is the case. I recommend the original profiles first.

Other Issues:this print failed, and wasted some of my filament.

I'm sorry your print failed. It's difficult to tell from this picture, but this may be a bed adhesion issue. This model has a small bed footprint for each link. If one were to lift and get hit by the print head I'd expect it could cause this kind of failure. If you'd like to try this print again I would suggest thoroughly cleaning the bed with soap and water first. Best of luck.

You should try the profile named "Multi Color (Racing Stripe) (Tighter Tolerances)", it shouldn't be as loose.

good but the outer ring fell off after some use which I put down to my own printer not the design.

Sometimes this is just due to the differences in filament. You can try one of the "Tighter Tolerances" profiles.

super impressive print, really great flexibility. printed it in pla on the p1s and while the tolerances are ok it's just slightly loose and I will try to tweak it to my preference

Have you tried the "Tighter Tolerances" profiles I posted? Was that too loose for you as well? It's difficult to get the right feel for all filaments/machines/conditions, etc. Glad you enjoyed the print.
