Integrated Tool Holder

No more lost printer tools!
I’ve designed a tool holder that integrates directly with the printer. It’s safe to use and won’t cause any issues for your printer. You can customize the setup to suit your specific needs. There are five different toolbox models available, which you can use with the tool holder. If you need additional toolbox designs or even an entire tool surface, just send me a message, and I can easily add them to the print profile.
This model is tested with P1S and X1 printer. Let me know if this works also other printers.

Assembly
The set includes a base, a tool surface and optional parts. The optional parts are five different toolbox models that you can choose based on your needs. Additionally, the base includes two optional stoppers, which hold the tool holder securely against the side of the printer. If desired, you can use the tool holder without the stoppers.

Positioning
Once you’ve assembled the tool holder, you have two options for using it:

1. Slice the holder exactly in the center of the designated position (as shown in the image below) without attaching the stoppers to the base. In this configuration, the tool holder will move freely on the table surface.
   OR

2. Attach the Y-stoppers into the Y-slots on the base. Then, position the holder in the center of the printer’s side. Gently tilt the printer so the entire base rests against the bottom of the printer.

    

   IMPORTANT: The base must not wedge or press tightly against any part of the printer’s bottom. There should be a small clearance (about 1 mm) to allow for movement in every direction!

You can place the holder on either the left or right side of the printer. It should be positioned precisely in the center of the designated area as shown in the image. This model is not suitable for anti vibration rubber feet!
