Description

This is an external spool holder that reuse the original external spool on the side of the Bambu Lab X1 or P1 Series. There is a arm over the external spool to use a bowden to the printer or to a Y splitter.

 

This external spool holder have a bloc to install a Y splitter to have a better path to enter in the printer smoothly.

 

You need to reuse the original external spool holder screw to install on this external spool holder.

printing this now. what size screws do I need to attach to the printer?

from memory, it's m3 size. the lenght is 8 or 12 and I think that i have reuse the original screw.

Pretty much what I was looking for. Any chance of getting a model that extends about 3 more inches towards the front of the printer? Would make it slightly easier to access and prevent the spool from hitting the ptfe tube for the AMS.

while it could be a result of warping, the curve on the bracket does not well fit the X1 housing. Also there are two cabinet screws on the back of the cabinet corners which are slightly raised and this design should really make allowances for these. The add on for the Bowden splitter feels like a crude afterthought. Finally the recess for the OEM spool holder does not have enough tolerance to sit flat and secure. Could creator perhaps upload .step or other CAD files so I can address these issues? Thanks
