Description

This design is a customized version of the wall mount for Makita V18 battery, tailored specifically to integrate seamlessly with IKEA Skadis boards. Note: The hooks require support structures. I suggest printing this part with 3 perimeters.

Lock Plug

From my experience, the 4 hooks provide enough friction to keep the battery holder in place, but if the holder tends to slide out of the pegboard holes when you retrieve your battery, consider printing the IKEA Skadis Lock Plug in 11mm I attached. Depending on your print settings, filament and board, you might have to choose another size. Please be aware that you must utilize the flat variant without a handle.

Skadis Collection

I am constantly developing more IKEA Skadis attachments. Check out my IKEA Skadis Collection here.

Basically a very precise fit. Unfortunately, with PLA or PETG the rear noses break off directly after one or two uses. Do you have any tips? I might try printing it lying down.

PETG should be a perfect choice. Due to the very tight tolerances, the hooks experience a lot of stress. While I’ve never had a failure with basic PLA, your results may vary. I can upload a revised model with more clearance later and will let you know once it's available. This should reduce the stress on the hooks. The lock plug I linked in the description is mandatory then; otherwise, you will lift up the holder when you grab the battery.

There you go: https://makerworld.com/en/models/100511#profileId-416794 This adds .3mm clearance (5.0mm total) which I currently use on all my models. Please let me know if this solves your problem. If not, I can create a model with 5.2mm clearance.
