Description
Taylor Toolworks Drill Press Sharpening System Jig
These files print the jig as per the dimensions specified by Taylor (taytools.com) for their “EZ Sharp Drill Press Sharpening System”. The “Large” model dimensions are consistent with Taylor's recommendations, as found here.
I've created the “Small” model to accommodate a smaller (e.g., bench top) drill press, as I've found this more useful for my own situation.
Note that 30mm holes are included in both models to accommodate Magswitch MagJig 95 Magnetic Clamps. You may want to alter the X-Y Hole Compensation slightly if you find the clamps are a bit tight. (I've configured an X-Y Hole Compensation of 0.15mm in the 3mf files which I found worked well with my Bambu A1).
I've also included FreeCAD files in the event you would like to modify the model(s) to suit your drill press, as well as .stl files if needed.
Please do not sell or modify these files for commercial use, or commercially market (sell) 3D prints made from these files. I've agreed with Taylor Toolworks to make these freely available to purchasers of their Drill Press Sharpening System solely to benefit the woodworking community.
