Sorry to you and to everyone else, I was out sick, but now I'm back! I'll be publishing an update soon with a dev diary so you can see how everything's progressing and can also chime in. Thank you for supporting the project!

I'm perfectly fine with waiting. Time is usually the number one factor that determines the quality of an item after all. Like someone else said, don't beat yourself up too badly, and let some of those magical differences in air pressure hit your eardrums whenever you get discouraged!

Thank you so much for your patience and kind words! 😊 It really means a lot to us. You’re absolutely right — taking the time to get everything right is the best way to ensure Ferrowave is safe, fun, and high quality. Your support and encouragement keep us motivated, even on the trickiest days!

It’s a pity that things are taking longer, but I completely understand that delays can happen. Especially when there’s a lot of restructuring and unplanned adjustments involved. So waiting isn’t a problem for me at all. What I’d be really interested in, though, is seeing a preliminary materials list! (at least for the parts that are unlikely to change anymore. Or maybe even some prototype previews or 3D prints, just to get a better idea of how things are coming along) Something I (and probably many others here) would really appreciate is if you could post updates a bit more regularly. Not just once in a while like now! I totally get that it can sometimes feel like there’s nothing big to show, but even a short development update would be great. Just to see that the project is still alive and progressing. (even if it’s only a small code improvement or a minor milestone)

Thank you for your support and understanding. I was ready to die from shame. It's really encouraging and will today post everything we have until today, so you will see how things stand and where the problems are. I promise I'll try to be more active in updating, especially now that the "problem" part is out and I see all the understanding I get back. I think together we will be able to finish this and make something that's really worth something to us all.

Hi @makarov could you update description of parts list with great reference for helping to found them ? Because link ti amazon are not viable, example for botle the link are dead. And the link for the electromagnet is not clear, it's 6v 15Kg P30/25 ? (it's not easy to find it.) For speaker, can use 3" model (78mm) ? Thanks.

When will the kits be shipped out?

@makarov
Hey, sorry for the late reply! Just to clarify, FerroWave does not ship physical kits. What you receive are digital files, which include the 3D print files, assembly manual, BOM, and firmware. These have just been made available today. I apologize for the delay on that, it was my first crowdfunding project and I did not fully understand how to properly fulfill rewards through MakerWorld. That has now been sorted. Your t-shirt will be shipped separately in the coming weeks, I will follow up once it is on its way. Matej

Hello @makarov love this project, just wondering, will this have a subwoofer? There´s a projecto called "printed mini arcade machine", I finished it a couple of months ago, really cool project (like this one), and it´s got 2 speaker and a subwoofer, sounds really good...maybe you can check it out!

Hey, thank you so much, really glad you love it! A subwoofer is a great idea and honestly not out of the question for a future version. I will check out the printed mini arcade machine, sounds like a great reference. That said, before going the subwoofer route I think the first thing I would want to tackle is more advanced speaker chamber design, things like tuned ports and transmission line enclosures. There is a lot of acoustic performance to be gained there before adding more drivers, and it would keep the form factor clean. But a dedicated bass driver further down the road, why not. Thanks for the suggestion! Matej
