Let’s be honest: Buying phone cases is annoying. Premium ones cost a fortune, and once you buy one, you are stuck with that single style.

As makers, we thought the solution was obvious: 3D printing. But we've all been there: you find a great design, but it’s not for your phone model. Or you find a design for your model, but the design is just… boring.

The problem is compatibility. Design and Fit are always disconnected. We wanted to fix that.

The Solution: A Fully Modular System

CaseStudio consists of four interchangeable parts: Frame, Backplate, Camera Ring and Buttons.

Everything snaps together perfectly, no glue or screws required. Want a new look? Don't print a whole new case. Just swap the backplate in seconds. One of the components damaged? Replace it instantly without wasting the rest.

We provide a growing library of presets for many popular smartphones. Just select your model and start customizing.

But the real frustration starts when you have an older or less common device. With CaseStudio, that problem is solved. No CAD skills required. Simply grab a ruler, follow our detailed measuring guide, and input your dimensions into our Online Generator. The software automatically calculates the perfect fit.

Infinite Customization

Because our system is parametric, every design fits every phone. You no longer have to look for a specific "Hexagon pattern for Pixel 8."

Inside the software, you can apply various patterns and structures to the backplate instantly. Combine this with the freedom of 3D printing materials, like wood-filled PLA, marble effects, and you have a product that looks and feels premium.

Optimized for FDM Printing

We are makers, so we designed this for makers. The geometry is optimized for standard FDM printers

• Fast: Prints in less than 2 hours.
• Cheap: Uses less than $1 in material.
• Easy: We optimized the frame for “TPU for AMS”, rigid enough for a secure fit, but soft enough to protect against drops. The backplate uses standard filaments (PLA/PETG), giving you access to thousands of colors and material combinations.
