After I got my 8bitdo 3D Controllers, I realized I needed something to cover the controller ports to keep dust out. I saw some designs, but wanted something different. I modeled these using Shapr3D, some calipers, and patience until I got it right. The controller dust plugs will snuggly plug into the controller port and easily pop out when you want to use an original controller. Hopefully others find this as useful as I have. :)
