I've built quite a few PVC bottle rocket launchers over the years, but I really liked the launch mechanism from the original model. This remix combines that mechanism with a PVC-mounted design to get what feels like the best of both worlds.
One thing I like about the PVC setup is that I can make the launcher a little taller, which makes it easier for me to place rockets onto the launcher. That said, the original design is incredibly simple, and is probably the better choice for most.

Quick and easy print. Operates smoothly, but no real click so not quite as satisfying of a “switch” movement as we wanted.

We did the square, not quite as fun as the hexagon. This version is thin and did not hold up to an hour of “fidgeting”.
