Don't waste time changing desiccant in the original AMS and making a mess to clean up. Just remove the spool and swap the desiccant in the Spool Desiccant Container. With the new AMS 2, just heat both the filament and desiccant togerther for 8 hrs when needed. That's it. I recommend using PLA at 15% strength @ 230º C on a textured plate (No glue stick necessary).
