Bio
Born in a small Midwest town in 1985, I grew up fixing cars with my dad. Dropped out of high school at 16 to work the assembly line at the local factory. Married my high school sweetheart at 20; we got two kids. Been welding steel beams for 25 years now—pays the bills, hurts the back. Weekends: fishing, grilling burgers, cheering for the Bears. Life’s simple, but it’s mine.

I wanted to place my printer compactly on my windowsill, so I made a shelf for my Creality Space Pi X4L. But I couldn’t find a good way to mount the BMCU for easy filament changes without bending. After a month of searching for a solution and help, I decided to design it myself. It was my first 3D modeling experience. After several prototypes and improvements, it turned out exactly as I imagined. I’m happy to share my first model with you!
