A damaged debris extraction pipe on my Metabo DS 175 bench grinder led me down an unexpected path. Replacement wasn’t straightforward, the part is not sold individually and requires purchasing the complete wheel guard assembly. Rather than replacing an entire assembly for one damaged component, I designed a functional replacement optimized for 3D printing. The part is meant to be printed in ABS or ASA and requires simple post‑printing drilling to mount onto the existing wheel guard.
