Introducing the Sweet Tooth Kit Card. If you are unfamiliar with Sweet Tooth, he is a character from the video game Twisted Metal. Which was also made into a TV Show on Peacock. My model was designed with heavy inspiration from the PS3 version of the game. This version of Sweet Tooth also appears in Rocket League. I have always wanted a model of this truck and the kit card was a great inspiration for me to make that possible. Tight Fit and Snug Fit. Tight Fit will require careful construction and proper printer calibration. This model will require some amount of pressure to be applied to each part, but this is to ensure no glue is required. (This version is seen in my print photos). The Snug Fit has a slight reduction to the sides of each pin to help push together a bit easier, but should still stay together on it's own.&nbsp;Every part of this model is separated and can be easily colored in the Object menu. This was done so that painting is not required. Simply select the object and choose filament color. This card kit makes a customizable Halloween haunted house diorama. The trees, pumpkins, ghosts, and tombstones are all interchangeable. Mix and match to make your own creation!<ul><li>Great for party favours; print in different colours and swap with friends!</li><li>Multi-colour ready</li><li>Separate (not attached to a card) pieces are also included in the .3mf</li></ul><h3>Trouble? Questions? Comments? Please don't hesitate to get in touch</h3><h3>Happy Halloween and Happy Printing!</h3><h3>Tolerances and fit</h3>All pieces should fit snugly. The smaller pieces are a bit fiddly due to their size. I recommend assembling with the smallest pieces first, followed by the gate, the tree(s), and, finally, the house.&nbsp;IMPORTANT: print the tolerance test first. Minor differences in filament flow can mean the difference between fitting and not fitting. This test is comprised of three pieces from the model as this is the most accurate way to gauge how well it will fit. <ul><li>Too tight? Change the X-Y hole compensation setting to 0.05 mm and reprint. Adjust up or down as needed.<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/545096/2023-10-25_10a1e251c2ff9.png"></li><li>Too loose? Change the X-Y hole compensation setting to -0.05 mm and reprint. Adjust up or down as needed.<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/545096/2023-10-25_8e82d3e6d8716.png"></li></ul><h3>Print Settings</h3>The .3mf files include my recommended print settings:<ul><li>Nozzle size: 0.4 mm (don't change as it may prevent pieces from fitting together)</li><li>Plate type: Smooth PEI Plate/High Temp Plate (best results)</li><li>Layer height: 0.2 mm (don't change as it may prevent pieces from fitting together)</li><li>First layer speed: 15 mm/s (slow to prevent small details from coming loose from the plate)</li><li>Wall order: outer/inner (for the same reason as above)</li><li>Wall generator: Classic (don't use Arachne because it will throw off the tolerances)</li><li>Brim: none</li></ul><h3>Filament settings</h3><ul><li>This model has been tested using the default uncalibrated “Generic PLA” preset with multiple filaments from various manufacturers. </li><li>If you find that the top surfaces are rough, reduce filament flow ratio. Caution: this may change fit so reprint the tolerance test first.</li><li>If you're using a custom filament preset, your results may vary.</li><li>Display models were printed in PLA as follows: Orange (Eryone), Grey (Eryone), Purple (AMZ3D), and Black (AMZ3D).</li></ul><h3>Multicolour</h3><ul><li>The model is AMS multicolour ready and provided pre-painted.</li><li>If you prefer to paint it yourself, I recommend leaving the first layer as one colour as it will help with adhesion. However, each bottom surface is isolated and paintable if you should so choose.</li><li>DON'T print your multicolour masterpiece without first printing the tolerance test!</li><li>Print four at a time to reduce filament waste (X1C and P1P/S only; A1 mini can only fit one)</li></ul><h3>About the model</h3>I've always enjoyed card kits and thought it would be fun to design my own to hand out at Halloween to trick or treaters. As with most things I create, it became more complicated as I went on and I lost the original intent of being an all-ages kit. However, I did wind up with what I think is a fun miniature diorama that older kids and adults might enjoy. If this kit is well received, I may design diorama kits for other holidays.
